In the charming Hotel & Restaurant Weidumerhout, we indulged in a serene retreat just outside Leeuwarden. Room 20, one of the cube rooms, offered stunning views of the Friesian countryside - a treat for art enthusiasts like us. The unique cube design provided a modern and spacious feel, with a large bed ensuring a comfortable stay. The weak Wi-Fi signal was a minor setback, but the cozy main building made up for it with excellent connectivity. The restaurant served delightful regional cuisine that tantalized our taste buds - a must-try experience. The personal touch of the owners, evident in the warm welcome and exceptional service, made our 10th anniversary celebration truly memorable. The peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to paddle a canoe in the canals added a touch of tranquility to our stay. We look forward to returning to this gem in the Friesian countryside and witnessing the planned improvements by the dedicated new owners.
